PRK schedules can last beyond the uncomfortable days
After PRK, the early days get most of the attention, but eye drops may continue after the worst discomfort improves. Antibiotic drops, steroid drops, and artificial tears may each have a different duration.
PRK instructions are not automatically the same as LASIK instructions. If a taper is written for a steroid drop such as Pred Forte, mark the exact day the count changes.
Track the taper, not just the first week
