How to build a schedule when you have two or three drops
With one drop, a single alarm can be enough. Once there are two or more, times, order, left and right eye and duration all mix together and mistakes creep in.
Start by separating the details per drug
The most common mistake with several drops is remembering them by time alone — 'the morning one'. In practice each drug has its own count and duration, and some go in only one eye. Build the schedule around the drug name instead.
- Write down the drug name together with the bottle colour
- Confirm left eye, right eye or both
- Register the daily count and start time separately
- Mark the end date, or the day the count changes
Separate the fixed-time drops from the custom ones
A clear one like 'once a day before bed' is easiest as a fixed-time reminder. A drop that needs arithmetic — four times a day, three hours apart — is safer on a custom schedule. Forcing everything into the same shape tends to make it more confusing, not less.
Why ticking things off matters
With several drops, 'I saw the reminder' and 'I put it in' can diverge. People dismiss the notification meaning to do it shortly and then forget. That is why each dose needs a record of its own.
Move that complicated chart into the app
In EyeDay you can register each drug's count, times and interval separately.
